In collaboration with slottsarkitekt Dick Sandberg
The Skokloster Inn is located in an old barn next to Skokloster Castle, north of Stockholm. The interior spaces of the inn was very disconnected from the surrounding landscape and therefore the goal of the project was to enhance the connection of the reception area towards the castle. In the facade facing the castle there was six small, high placed windows. The openings of these windows were extended to the ground and double doors were installed in order to connect to the café area on the outside.
